A message from Epoch Solutions Group CEO & Founder James Street
We founded Epoch Solutions Group in 2006 with a mission to transform utility companies via the use of geospatial technology. The significant growth we’ve seen in subsequent years has been incredible, and I’m excited to share that our growth trajectory is only getting stronger.
First, some background…
While Epoch’s initial engagements were consulting based, the goal was always to move into a product focus. That came initially with EpochSync, a product release allowing our customers to leverage the Esri ArcGIS product stack through database synchronization while continuing to support their GE Smallworld GIS implementation.
Our focus quickly changed to supporting the utility mobile workforce through our geospatial expertise, and with that, EpochField was released. Since then, we have helped numerous utilities digitally transform their field workforce with the EpochField product suite. With our product roadmap full of innovation, and a market in need of a product vendor willing to listen and focus to their needs, our leadership team sought additional investment to accelerate the product roadmap.
Our partnership with SunTx and vision for the future
I am excited to announce that we have found that partnership with SunTx Capital Partners, who will help support Epoch in the investment strategy needed to continue our growth in the utility market.
The announcement reignites my passion for the company I founded 15 years ago and allows us to build on our momentum and deliver the best mobile workforce management solutions for utilities. I will remain CEO and an equity partner in the business, spearheading the vision for the company as we work alongside SunTx. The Epoch team will continue to focus on our customers’ needs and the partnership we provide them for building next-generation technology. We will continue to work with our partners such as Esri but also seek to adopt new partnerships for technology and delivery.
