What’s New in EpochField 5.2.24
We’re pleased to announce the release of EpochField 5.2.24. The following highlights all of the items addressed.
Impacted Modules: Mobile, Web Suite, Work Scheduler, Work Management Server
New Features
- Web Suite Upgrade to Angular 20 – Brings long-term support, security updates, and better performance.
- Work Scheduler – Close Work Order Filters Popup – An “X” button has been added to allow quick closing of the filter popup without reapplying filters.
- Mobile Framework Upgrades – Upgraded to .NET 9, .NET MAUI 9, and Esri ArcGIS Runtime 200.7.
- Platform API – GetApiToken via POST – A new POST method allows clients using SAP PI/PO or OAuth 2.0 tools to retrieve tokens, improving integration compatibility.
Web Suite Enhancements
Angular 20 Framework Upgrade
EpochField Web Suite has been updated to Angular 20 to align with long-term support and security best practices. This upgrade enhances stability, application performance, and future compatibility with other platform services.
Work Scheduler Enhancements
Close Work Order Filters Popup
Users can now easily cancel the filter popup without applying changes.
Enhancement Details:
- Added a close “X” icon to the upper right of the filter modal window
- Allows users to exit the filter screen without reapplying filters
- Improves speed and usability, especially when no changes to filters are needed
Mobile Enhancements
Platform Framework Updates
EpochField Mobile now includes the latest platform versions:
- Upgraded to .NET 9 and .NET MAUI 9
- Updated to Esri ArcGIS Runtime 200.7
These upgrades provide stability improvements, foundational updates for Esri’s evolving Runtime SDK, and better alignment with future enhancements.
Work Management Server Enhancements
Platform API – GetApiToken POST Method Support
The EpochField Platform Api now supports a POST method to retrieve API tokens, in addition to the existing GET method. This was added to support client systems like SAP PI/PO that require POST for OAuth 2.0 token requests.
Key Behavior:
- A POST request to GetApiToken now returns a valid token without error
- Response payload includes expires_in with the token’s expiration time (in seconds)
- Ensures compatibility with enterprise integration standards
