What’s New in EpochField 5.2.33
We’re pleased to announce the release of EpochField 5.2.33. The following highlights all of the items addressed.

New Features
- Customer Reports Required for Work Feature Completion – Workflow forms can now require customer trace results before designated Work Features can be completed, ensuring customer impact information is captured as part of the work process.
- Persistent Notification for Manual Sync Failures – Manual Work Management sync failures now display a persistent error dialog that remains visible until dismissed by the user.
Mobile Enhancements
Customer Reports Required for Work Feature Completion
EpochField Mobile now supports requiring Customer Reports from the Tracing Tool before designated Work Features can be completed. This creates a seamless workflow between Work Management and Tracing while ensuring customer impact information is captured as part of the completion process.
Key Capabilities
- Launch the Tracing Tool directly from a Workflow Form.
- Generate a Customer Report from a Downstream Affected Customers trace.
- Attach trace results to the Work Feature as part of the completion workflow.
- Prevent completion until required trace results have been captured.
- Store customer report information with the completed Work Feature for reporting and auditing.
- Existing workflows remain unchanged for task types that do not require customer reports.
Persistent Notification for Manual Sync Failures
EpochField Mobile now displays a persistent error dialog when a manually initiated Work Management sync fails. Unlike the previous temporary notification, the dialog remains visible until dismissed, ensuring users are aware of the failure even if they return to the application later.

- The dialog remains visible until dismissed by the user.
- Applies only to manually initiated syncs.
- Automatic background syncs are not affected and continue to use the existing notification behavior.
Web Suite Enhancements
Workflow Builder Enhancements
Configuration options have been added to Workflow Builder to support Customer Reports Required for Work Feature Completion. Administrators can designate task types that require customer trace results before a Work Feature can be completed, while leaving existing workflows unchanged for task types that do not require this validation.
